Designed to help diabetes patient’s life easier.

We first sat down with the Walsall NHS Clinical Commissioning Group to discuss how we could use the unique features of mobile apps to help patients self manage their diabetes, and cut down on the amount of time they needed to spend in the clinic.

We discussed what core features, functionality and information would be most useful for diabetes sufferers, as well as a whole host of further ideas that could be incorporated that were unique to mobile.

With a typically tight NHS budget, and a quick turnaround needed, this was perhaps one of our our tightest deadlines and lowest budget projects we have done to date.

    Consultation

This was the first app project the Walsall CCG had been involved with, and we helped scope out and plan a full roadmap of possibilities to help make patient’s lives easier.

    Maximising the NHS budget

    Fast, efficient & dependable

With vital information that could need to be accessed in an emergency, the app needed to operate smoothly, quickly and be 100% dependable to it’s users.

“Staff and patient feedback and reviews on the app are all positive so from a clinical point of view we are very happy with the product.”
